Galaxy backs USHP, the first digital asset for US home prices

Galaxy Digital has committed $50 million to USHP, presented as the first digital asset designed to track US home prices through a daily predictive index and an on-chain token. The US residential real estate market is worth approximately $55 trillion. The token, issued by a subsidiary of the USHP Foundation based in the Cayman Islands, is not offered to US persons or sold within the United States, but targets exclusively eligible non-US investors. The project aims to make exposure to the US housing market as seamless as swapping stablecoins, bypassing the limitations of REITs and Case-Shiller futures, which have never attracted significant institutional liquidity.
