Ripple has renewed its partnership with NYU Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates through 2027, extending its University Blockchain Research Initiative (UBRI) launched in 2018. Reece Merrick, Senior Executive Officer and Managing Director for Middle East and Africa at Ripple, celebrated this collaboration strengthening NYUAD’s role as a regional hub for blockchain research and talent development. The XRP millionaire cohort has added 32 wallets holding over 1 million tokens over a three-month period, despite a 29% decline in market capitalization. At time of writing, XRP was trading at $1.02, up 1.02% in the last 24 hours, while the institutional stablecoin RLUSD continues to see significant growth.
