Joseph DeLong, former SushiSwap CTO now CEO of Colossus (a stablecoin credit card startup), will launch a decentralized exchange called Deepstate on Robinhood Chain next week. The protocol uses a fully onchain order book where each order is stored in a smart contract as a 32-byte word containing price, quantity, and a time-priority nonce. This design is based on the Warp matching engine by Joseph Poon and Christopher Jeffrey, aiming to keep gas costs bounded regardless of how many orders rest on the book. Robinhood Chain reached 323,969 daily active users on July 21, surpassing Base’s 274,520, three weeks after its Arbitrum-based mainnet launch.
