Trading platform eToro announced the acquisition of US online broker TradeZero as part of its US expansion plans. In the second quarter, crypto-related revenue reached $1.34 billion, down about 30% from $1.9 billion in Q2 2025, with total revenue of $1.59 billion. The number of crypto trades on the platform fell to 1.4 million in July, a 73% year-over-year decline, while invested amounts dropped by 50%. TradeZero generated approximately $80 million in revenue with 81% gross margins over the trailing twelve months. eToro expects the deal to be accretive to adjusted earnings per share in the first year after closing, expected in the first half of 2026.
