Empery Digital sold 1,635 Bitcoin for approximately $102.2 million between July 1st and August 6th, reducing its unrestricted Bitcoin holdings from 1,375 to 325 BTC in just over a month. The company still holds 1,279 BTC in total, with 954 BTC pledged as collateral for a $35 million loan, limiting its ability to freely sell those assets. Proceeds from the sales were used to repay $10 million in loans, $50 million for the Repo Facility, and $54 million for share buybacks. With a working-capital deficit of $5.7 million and only $3.7 million in cash on hand, Empery may need to sell additional Bitcoin or secure further funding to meet future obligations.
