Cosmostation, the second-largest non-custodial wallet in the Cosmos ecosystem, announced on August 14 that it will discontinue wallet services across all platforms starting September 1. The shutdown affects its iOS app, Android app, and Chrome browser extension, with users having less than three weeks to export their recovery phrases and private keys before all other wallet functions are gradually phased out. This closure follows Leap Wallet’s shutdown on May 28, leaving Keplr as the largest remaining wallet option in the ecosystem. Cosmostation, which launched in 2018, cited only « careful consideration » about the team’s future contributions to the interchain ecosystem without providing further explanation.
