CoreWeave, an AI cloud infrastructure provider, has warned investors in a regulatory filing that transitioning away from Nvidia chips would require significant time and financial resources. The company currently runs its entire cloud computing platform on Nvidia hardware with no immediate plans to diversify. Nvidia invested 2 billion dollars in CoreWeave at 87.20 dollars per share in January 2026. CoreWeave went public in March 2025 and plans to reach 5 gigawatts of AI factory capacity by 2030, all leveraging Nvidia technology.
