Shared conversations from Anthropic’s Claude AI were indexed by Google due to missing noindex meta tags on public links. Exposed data included personal legal discussions, creative content, and at least one cryptocurrency wallet private key. The incident occurred over the weekend of July 26-27. Anthropic confirmed the issue and Google subsequently de-indexed the relevant links. This marks Anthropic’s second similar privacy breach, following a comparable incident in 2025.
