Boring Company reportedly seeks funding at $20B valuation, more than double its last known price tag

Elon Musk’s Boring Company is reportedly pursuing a funding round at a $20 billion valuation, representing approximately a 108% increase from its last confirmed valuation of $9.6 billion in September 2025, and nearly 3.5 times higher than secondary market estimates that had dipped to $5.7 billion during 2025. The company has previously raised approximately $908 million from investors including Vy Capital, Sequoia Capital, and Valor Capital Group, but no new funding round has been confirmed as of July 2026. Its flagship project, the Las Vegas Convention Center Loop, continues to operate as a proof of concept, while the company is also expanding with tunneling initiatives in Nashville. Share price estimates for the company have hovered near $24.63 per share as of mid-2026, with reported fluctuations in secondary markets.
