Mentat Lend has launched the first native lending market on Bittensor, enabling TAO holders to lend their tokens at 10.03% APY, which is 3.86 points higher than root staking. Borrowers can use their alpha tokens as collateral to borrow TAO without selling their position. The protocol, deployed on the Score subnet (subnet 44), shows an utilization rate of approximately 53% with APY reaching up to 13.99%. TAO is currently trading around $200, with a market capitalization of $1.92 billion.
