Bitcoin long-term holders accumulated 1.29 million BTC over a 30-day period, marking the highest level recorded in over six years and surpassing the previous record set during the 2017 bull market. This strong accumulation occurred while Bitcoin was trading near its lowest levels, with speculative traders having massively sold their positions. Long-term holders, considered seasoned investors, interpreted the downturn as a buying opportunity rather than an exit signal. This accumulation triggered a 15% rebound in Bitcoin’s price, rising from about $58,000 to $66,000, and could fuel a rally toward $70,000 if the buying momentum persists.
