Strategy has paused its Bitcoin purchases for seven weeks and sold approximately 7,000 BTC during that period, while acquiring about 175,000 since January. Its treasury now holds 840,447 BTC at an average cost of 75,385 dollars per unit, totaling 63.36 billion dollars. CEO Phong Le confirmed Monday on FOX Business that the company would resume its accumulation before year-end, without specifying a trigger date or price. These sales primarily fund preferred stock dividends and bolster the cash reserve, which grew from 800 million to 4.65 billion dollars. Strategy remains the largest publicly traded Bitcoin holder but is abandoning its radical « never sell » rule in favor of actively managing its Bitcoin treasury.
