Bitcoin’s Coinbase Premium Index dropped over 160% this week, signaling a sharp decline in U.S. buying pressure. This mirrors the Q2 pattern where BTC gained 1.84% in March and 11.8% in April before losing over 3% in May and 20% in June. Analysts note that Open Interest remains high while spot demand stays weak, suggesting a potential liquidity unwind that could trigger another late-Q3 correction similar to the late-Q2 breakdown.
