Bitcoin (BTC) In August: What to Expect After Bullish July

Share

Bitcoin recorded notable gains in July, but historical data suggests that August could prove more erratic. Since 2013, the average August return is slightly above 1%, but the median return is negative, with notable exceptions like the 65% gain in 2017. Recent years show a downward trend: a drop of nearly 9% in 2022 and more than 6% in 2023. Bitcoin is currently consolidating around $63,000 to $65,000, with an RSI near 50, indicating a balance between buyers and sellers. Resistance stands at $67,000 and then $72,000, while support is expected around $60,000.
