BIP-110 Bitcoin Fork Stalls at Two Blocks as Its Only Miner Quits

The Bitcoin BIP-110 fork has produced no blocks since Saturday night, with only two blocks mined by the group Roughnecks using the Ocean mining pool. The fork required 55% of hashrate to activate but peaked at only 2.53%, with Ocean being the only pool signaling support. The proposal aimed to limit arbitrary data in Bitcoin transactions, particularly inscriptions, but faced massive network opposition. Approximately 3,125 nodes remain stuck on block 961,633, with the BIP-110 chain lagging over 250 blocks behind the main Bitcoin chain.
