Bank of Montreal (BMO), Canada’s second-largest bank, has disclosed XRP positions through regulated U.S. ETF products, according to its 13F-HR filing with the SEC. The bank’s total portfolio exceeds $303 billion, holding 323 shares in the Rex Osprey XRP ETF and 20 shares in the ProShares Ultra XRP ETF. National Bank of Canada also invested in the XRP ecosystem, acquiring 3,848 shares in the Bitwise XRP ETF worth approximately $330,000. Goldman Sachs, which held positions exceeding $150 million around late 2025 to early 2026, reduced or fully exited those positions this summer. These significant sales were offset by new players including Arax Advisory Partners, Gerber, Vista Finance and Gallacher Capital, adopting a more flexible approach by splitting capital between traditional spot funds and leveraged instruments.
