AT&T has partnered with D-Wave to deploy quantum computing across its network operations, leveraging quantum annealing technology. The telecom giant has already optimized its field-technician dispatch process, reducing computation time from one hour to just 15 seconds, a 240x speedup. D-Wave delivers these services through its Leap cloud platform, which reportedly offers 99.9% uptime. D-Wave trades on the NYSE under ticker QBTS. D-Wave also announced on January 27, 2026, a $10 million, two-year Quantum Computing as a Service agreement with a Fortune 100 company.
