Bitcoin lost approximately 14% in the second quarter of 2026, closing at around $58,544, but its one-year realized volatility held steady at approximately 42%, near multi-year lows. Long-term holder supply reached an all-time high of roughly 14.85 million BTC out of 19.7 million BTC mined, limiting available supply for active trading. US spot Bitcoin ETFs experienced net outflows of approximately 71,000 BTC over seven consecutive weeks, representing over $4 billion in value. This combination of contained volatility and record illiquid supply suggests increased market maturity according to Ark Invest.
