AMLBot launches AI Tracer for self-service blockchain investigations

AMLBot, a crypto compliance firm operating since 2019, launched AI Tracer in beta on March 27, a self-service platform enabling theft victims and under-resourced law enforcement agencies to trace stolen digital assets without specialized forensic expertise. The tool analyzes fund flows from a transaction hash, blockchain, and asset type, then generates a visual graph and downloadable report suitable for police filings or compliance submissions. Attackers gain roughly 20 hours head start before any meaningful investigation begins, and the fastest laundering operations can move funds in under 3 minutes. AI Tracer traces but does not recover funds, producing actionable evidence for law enforcement and exchanges. AMLBot’s assisted recovery operations have success rates between 60% and 75%.
