Amit Bhatia has confirmed that his consortium, backed by Jeff Bezos, Eduardo Saverin, and the Mittal family, has secured an investment stake in Liverpool Football Club. The consortium is acquiring approximately 30% of the club for around £1.35 billion, valuing the Merseyside club at £4.5 billion. Fenway Sports Group retains majority control of the club, which it purchased in 2010 for approximately £300 million.
