Ethereum and Solana may become scarcer – THESE Grayscale projections say…

Ethereum was trading at $1,876.89 and Solana at $75.16 at press time, with contradictory price movements and an inconclusive RSI for both cryptocurrencies. Grayscale, through its Head of Research Zach Pandl, projects that the annual supply growth of SOL and ETH could drop to approximately 1.1% and 0.4% respectively by 2031, bringing them closer to Bitcoin’s supply growth and below gold’s estimated 1.8% annual supply growth. This reduction in inflation would make both assets scarcer, which could support prices in the long term if demand remains constant or rises. However, stakers would be affected as they would receive fewer tokens as rewards, even if the value of those tokens could compensate through price appreciation driven by scarcity.
