XRP Paradox: Why Ripple’s ‘North Star’ Sinks Against USD but Prepares to Beat Bitcoin

XRP is currently losing value against the U.S. dollar, approaching the psychological level of $1 after peaking above $3.20 during the previous bullish cycle. The Bollinger Bands indicator on weekly and monthly charts shows the price sliding along the lower boundary of its range, and a break below $1 could lead to a decline toward the long-term support zone between $0.65 and $0.85. However, against Bitcoin via the XRP/BTC pair, the token is testing a historic bottom at 0.00001480 BTC, a level that major players have never allowed to break even during the darkest periods. XRP appears technically positioned strongly relative to Bitcoin, which shows signs of exhaustion with contracted volatility, while XRP has already reached the bottom of its range. If a reversal occurs, the first technical target would represent a gain of approximately 28 % against Bitcoin.
