A University of Sydney study analyzed over 350 videos and found that 60% contained behavior classified as potentially harassing. Meta is facing lawsuits after a study revealed that subcontractors were viewing intimate moments captured through these glasses. In response, users are developing countermeasures such as face markings to confuse facial recognition systems, apps like Nearby Glasses (over 100,000 downloads), and theories about singing copyrighted songs to disrupt covert filming.
