Oracle confirmed on July 16, 2026, that its Project Jupiter, an AI data center campus located in New Mexico, is progressing according to schedule. The project, with a potential investment of up to $165 billion, spans approximately 1,400 acres and plans to include four data centers. More than 2,700 workers are already on site, having collectively logged over 2 million working hours, and the project is expected to create more than 7,000 construction jobs. The campus has already generated close to $80 million in tax revenue by late July 2026, even before full operational launch. Oracle has also decided to shift toward Bloom Energy’s solid oxide fuel-cell technology instead of traditional natural gas turbines, with planned capacity of up to 2.45 gigawatts.
