Morgan Stanley increased its BlackRock Bitcoin ETF holdings by 23% in Q2 2024, notably initiating a position in MSBT while expanding its Ethereum exposure with a 202% increase in iShares Ethereum Trust ETF to 4.6 million shares. The bank also significantly grew its stake in Circle Internet Group (CRCL), the issuer of USDC stablecoin, rising from 1.46 million to 8.32 million shares. On the sell side, Morgan Stanley reduced its Coinbase shares by approximately 550,000 and fully exited an approximately 8 million-share position in Bitfarms.
