JPMorgan increased its Bitcoin ETF position by approximately 25% and more than quadrupled its Ether ETF position in the second quarter, according to its latest 13F filing with the SEC. The bank held about 10.4 million shares in BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT), valued at roughly $356 million, up from 8.3 million shares in Q1. Its position in the iShares Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHA) rose to approximately 1.17 million shares from roughly 267,000. JPMorgan also reported small positions in XRP investment products for the first time, including shares of Grayscale’s and Bitwise’s XRP offerings. Additionally, the bank reduced its holdings in several Bitcoin mining companies during the quarter.
