Apple has inaugurated a 250,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Houston, doubling its presence in the city. AI servers started shipping from the site in October 2025, months ahead of the original 2026 target. The plant also produces Mac minis, marking the first time the device is manufactured in the United States. These servers form the hardware backbone for Private Cloud Compute and Apple Intelligence infrastructure. This expansion is part of Apple’s 600 billion dollar commitment to US investment.
