Jim Cramer and portfolio director Jeff Marks hosted the August Monthly Meeting of the CNBC Investing Club, reviewing all 32 stocks in the portfolio. Cramer’s five favorite stocks to buy right now are Nvidia, Micron, Intel, Amazon and FedEx, as the artificial intelligence trade rebounds. Nvidia, reporting earnings on August 26, Micron recently added to the portfolio, and Intel, which raised $20 billion through a secondary offering to fund its third-party foundry business, are the top chip picks. FedEx Freight, spun off from FedEx in June, was also highlighted as a bonus buy. Cramer also discussed other holdings including Apple, where CEO Tim Cook steps down in September, Microsoft, and Meta Platforms.
