Generator maker ERock saw its shares soar 23% on Wednesday after reporting a 1,000% increase in its order backlog, driven by a major contract with AI software company Anthropic, which agreed to purchase 470 megawatts of power from ERock totaling 1.7 billion dollars in future business. Anthropic, expected to go public later this year at a valuation well above 1 trillion dollars, becomes ERock’s third major data center customer. Bank of America raised its price target on ERock to 19 dollars from 16 dollars while maintaining its buy rating, as the stock closed at 13.82 dollars.
