Goldman Sachs will acquire NEOS Investments for up to $2.25 billion in a deal expected to close in Q1 2027. The US specialist in income-generating ETFs using options strategies manages $30 billion across 19 funds, including the NEOS Bitcoin High Income ETF (BTCI) which already exceeds $1.1 billion in assets and delivers a distribution yield of around 27%. This acquisition could accelerate Goldman Sachs’ launch of its own Bitcoin income ETF, already filed with the SEC in April. Combined with the recent purchase of Innovator Capital Management, the bank will manage over $130 billion in ETF assets.
