Securitize shares fell 16% on Thursday in premarket trading after the tokenization platform reported $14.4 million in second-quarter revenue, down 5% year-over-year, significantly missing the Wall Street consensus estimate of $20.6 million. Tokenization revenue declined 12% to $7.8 million, while the BlackRock-backed company posted a net loss of $21.7 million, compared to $6.1 million a year earlier. Despite these underperformances, average tokenized assets under management reached a record $4.3 billion, up 16% year-over-year.
