Blockchain Association backs Custodia’s Supreme Court bid over Fed master account access

The Blockchain Association has announced its support for Custodia’s bid to take its case against the Federal Reserve to the U.S. Supreme Court. The dispute centers on Custodia’s denied access to a Federal Reserve master account, which would allow the crypto bank to hold reserves directly at the central bank. The industry group argues that the case is essential to ensure lawful digital asset businesses can compete on equal footing with traditional financial institutions. Custodia has previously challenged the Fed’s denial of its master account application in lower courts before escalating the matter to the highest court in the land.
