LTX, the generative media company that spun out from Lightricks (creator of Facetune), has released LTX-2.5, an AI model that can generate video clips in just 6.8 seconds. The model is available as open weights on Hugging Face, with native integration into ComfyUI and via the LTX API for teams preferring managed infrastructure. Organizations with less than 10 million dollars in annual recurring revenue get free access, while larger companies must negotiate a commercial license. LTX claims its model family has surpassed 33 million downloads, making it the most-used open world model line on the market.
