Robinhood has launched its cryptocurrency service in the UK, allowing British customers to access over 50 cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple, integrated into the same app as stocks and ISAs. The platform charges no trading, custody, or account-maintenance fees for qualified UK customers, though investors should still consider spreads and other costs. Robinhood purchased Bitstamp UK Ltd. in 2025 to provide the crypto infrastructure and secured FCA registration on July 31st. The expansion comes as Robinhood’s cryptocurrency revenue dropped 38 percent year-over-year to approximately $100 million in Q2.
