Bitdeer Stock Craters 20% Following Wider Second-Quarter Net Loss

Bitdeer (BTDR) stock plunged Monday to its lowest level since late March after the crypto miner reported a wider quarterly net loss and revenue that missed Wall Street forecasts. The company posted a loss of $0.37 per share, compared to the $0.32 expected by analysts, with revenue of $228.8 million below the $231.16 million consensus. Net loss widened to $92.3 million from $62.9 million a year earlier. The stock fell 20.08% to close at $8.70, erasing all gains made during the second quarter after a 83% rise over that period. Operationally, self-mining revenue nearly tripled to $168.4 million, and AI Cloud revenue reached $14 million, up from $1.3 million a year earlier.
