As a fallback, Barcelona is eyeing Lautaro Martínez, captain and striker of Inter Milan, a 28-year-old Argentine who has scored 20 goals in a season. His contract running until 2029 gives Inter Milan strong negotiating leverage, with transfer fee estimates ranging from €90M to €113M. This striker search is part of Barcelona’s planning for life after Robert Lewandowski, with Chelsea’s João Pedro also reportedly monitored as another alternative.
