Block (XYZ) reported solid Q2 results with adjusted EPS of $1.02 versus a consensus of $0.86, gross profit growth of 25% to $3.17 billion, and adjusted operating margin of 27%. However, the stock failed to hold its breakout above the $81 resistance level and remains in consolidation. Expedia (EXPE) delivered significantly better performance with revenue up 14% to $4.31 billion, adjusted EBITDA growing 23% to $1.1 billion, and adjusted EPS of $5.76 up 36%. The stock completed a textbook breakout from a base between $250 and $270 to reach $330, with RSI at 66 indicating intact momentum. EXPE has executed $900 million in buybacks year to date with $5.7 billion in remaining authorization.
