British bank Standard Chartered predicts that LINK will reach 200 dollars by the end of 2030, compared to approximately 8.30 dollars today, representing nearly a 24-fold increase from current levels. The projected trajectory is gradual, with intermediate targets of 13 dollars by end of 2024, 41 dollars in 2027, 82 dollars in 2028 and 133 dollars in 2029. This forecast relies notably on the expected explosion of tokenized assets to 4 trillion dollars by end of 2028, up from 340 billion currently, with Chainlink holding a central place in the infrastructure connecting blockchains and traditional finance. The bank highlights that Chainlink powers nearly 70% of global decentralized finance markets and over 80% on Ethereum, with cumulative transaction volume exceeding 32 trillion dollars. Partnerships with major players such as Swift, DTCC, JPMorgan, Mastercard and UBS illustrate this breakthrough in TradFi, although risks including slower tokenization adoption or deployment delays are also identified.
