Investors poured $82 million into Canary’s XRP ETF, but falling prices erased double what they put in

Canary Capital’s XRP ETF (XRPC) saw its net assets decline by $81.6 million in the first half of 2026, dropping from $322.8 million to $241.2 million, despite $82.36 million in net capital-share activity. Unrealized XRP depreciation accounted for $159.70 million of the $164 million total decrease from operations. The fund held 231.3 million XRP at June 30, up 31.7% from 175.6 million at the end of 2025, but the larger token pool was worth significantly less in dollar terms.
