FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are negotiating the transfer of Spanish forward Ferran Torres, who has already agreed to personal terms on a four-year contract with the Parisian club. A 10 million euro gap remains between the two clubs: PSG has offered around 40 million euros while Barcelona is holding out for 50 million. Torres, 26, has been at Barcelona since January 2022 when he arrived from Manchester City for approximately 55 million euros, and still has one year left on his contract running through June 2027. PSG plans to partially fund the acquisition through player sales, notably Randal Kolo Muani, while benefiting from the connection between Torres and manager Luis Enrique, with whom he worked during his time with the Spanish national team.
