The hack resulted in confirmed losses of 111 million dollars, with 1,719 BTC stolen from victims, potentially reaching 130 million dollars as some coins remain unconfirmed. Mishaboar recommends hardware wallets for long-term savings and warns against software wallets, stating their risks are impossible for ordinary users to assess.
