Black Lake Digital Markets has launched Harbor Verify, a blockchain tool enabling investors and lenders to verify that tokenized loans meet eligibility criteria without accessing borrowers’ private data. The tool performs two cryptographic checks: verifying eligibility rules through digital hashes and confirming loan pool membership using Merkle commitments and zero-knowledge proofs. The platform is initially applying this model to a 25 million dollar portfolio of residential mortgage loans in partnership with Nuva Labs. The process uses only hashes, yes or no results, and cryptographic proofs, never disclosing borrower names, credit scores, loan balances, or addresses. Review can be repeated at any time at no additional cost, as checks run against public onchain anchors.
