Black Forest Labs launched FLUX 3, its first multimodal foundation model capable of generating HD video clips up to 20 seconds with synchronized native audio. The model supports text-to-video and image-to-video creation, with early access available through the BFL API in late July 2026. Crusoe AI provided the hardware infrastructure for the large-scale rollout, and the model has potential applications in robotics through existing collaborations with Mimic Robotics and Audi. Founded in 2024 by Robin Rombach, the company has raised over $450 million in total funding, including a $300 million Series B in December 2025 that valued the firm at $3.25 billion.
