The wage premium for AI-skilled workers has tripled to 34.2% from 11% in 2024. Meanwhile, 17% of UK employers expect AI tools to reduce their headcount over the next 12 months. The most at-risk roles are junior managerial, clerical, and administrative positions, with employment declines of up to 20% for younger workers since late 2022.
