Zimbabwe’s securities regulator, SECZ, has admitted seven financial technology projects to its regulatory sandbox. Four of these seven projects specialize in the tokenization of assets, securities, and infrastructure. The cohort also includes initiatives in blockchain-based capital raising, crowdfunding, and synthetic trading. Sandbox participation authorizes supervised testing, but does not guarantee final commercial registration, with participants still required to meet regulatory requirements.
