Hyperliquid, a decentralized perpetual futures exchange operating on its own Layer-1 blockchain, is preparing for a major shift towards real-world assets. According to projections, 75% of the platform’s activity could be dominated by real-world assets by 2027, compared to 52% during the week of July 13-19, 2026. This transition is part of a diversification strategy beyond traditional cryptocurrencies. The market remains cautious about the native token HYPE’s price, with a 20.5% probability of it reaching $100 by the end of 2026. The expansion is accompanied by a record increase in open interest, strengthening the platform’s market presence.
