Wall Street is buzzing about Bending Spoons, a Milan-based tech company that buys mature internet brands and cuts their costs using artificial intelligence. Analysts at Goldman Sachs, which led the Bending Spoons IPO, see 26% upside for the stock, while Wells Fargo and Mizuho forecast a 32% potential. Bending Spoons owns brands including AOL, Eventbrite and Vimeo. Its three-step business model, consisting of acquiring established companies, optimizing operations via AI and reinvesting gains into future acquisitions, is drawing investor interest. Unlike private equity firms that rely on debt, Bending Spoons focuses on a technological operational approach deemed more sustainable.
