Truflation, a decentralized data platform, published a US Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 2.11%, a full percentage point below the 3.5% announced by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) for June 2026. The platform aggregates between 13 and 35 million data points from 30 to over 70 providers, versus a fixed basket of goods for the BLS. The TRUF token, launched in 2024 and traded on KuCoin and Bitstamp, powers the network whose readings have historically led official BLS data by approximately 41 to 45 days. A hack in 2024 caused losses of approximately $5 million according to blockchain analyst ZachXBT.
