Poolin Technology and its US affiliates filed for Chapter 11 on July 22, 2026 with the US Bankruptcy Court in New Jersey. The case includes a stalking-horse bid of $52 million from Thor CALAP LLC for the Pyote and Tarbush mining sites in West Texas. The company lists total prepetition liabilities of $173.1 million, including $163.7 million in unsecured IOUs owed to roughly 11,700 Poolin Wallet users following the withdrawal freeze in 2022. This bankruptcy underscores the lasting fallout from the previous crypto market downturn, with users still waiting for recovery years later.
