Metaplanet boosts its Bitcoin treasury with a 2,823 BTC purchase

Metaplanet acquired 2,823 BTC in Q2 2026, bringing its total reserve to 43,000 BTC after a three-month pause. The company invested 35.89 billion yen (approximately $222 million) at an average price of 12.7 million yen per unit.
